nuendo and pro audio dealers

so what is with nuendo being the DAW for pro audio dealers. i guess i am making this connection from Mercenary and a couple of other pro audio shops that seam to use it.

Because its a Pro-----Program.

We don't sell Steinberg products....we use Nuendo on our house PC.
Nuendo is a brick shit house of a DAW [thats a good description] Its mix engine sounds better than most.

i agree, and if i hadnt spent so much money on MOTU (hate) updates i would go the same route.

but just wondering. since protools seams like such the obvious option.

Reluctance to tie up a lot of cash in something that isnt headed out the door to earn profit?

Although.... I use Logic with a Symphony system because it better suits my needs. I sold my HD system years ago.
