otari mx5050 mkIII-4

Hello,

I just purchased an otari 1/2'' 4 track, but I don't have the manual. Does anyone here know of a pdf manual for this machine that I could download?

If any of you have any experience with this machine, or a similar one, your advice would be appreciated. I am completely new to working with reels, it is very exciting to get beyond the cassette multitrack world and into something new.

many thanks, -Brian

I have the 8 track version.

There's a lot of info on this page, I found a link to a manual for mine. I'm sure they're not all that different: Analog Rules!!! Pro-Audio Parts and Service

I might have one around here, our shows used to run on them. We still have the machines! If you want I'll check.
