What's missing from my setup for recording guitars?

Here's what I have to work with:

Epiphone Valve Jr head (stock)
Fender frontman 25R solid state combo (it's cheap, but has reverb)
Marshall- a little 15" head with 10" extension cab made for stacking. It's like the Zach Wylde one...but much older and has less knobs. I only have one of the cabs. (I traded an sm58 for the combo).

Avatar-half open 2 X 12 cab with Celestion GT-30's
Marshall-JCM800 4 X 12 cab with Celestion GT-65's

Big Muff Pi (full size, silver one)
Boss DS-1
Boss Metalzone

I have nice pre's and mic's..by the way.
And...my room is treated ok..soundwise.

I'm pretty happy with the rock and metal tones I'm getting with the epi jr into the avatar and marshall cab.

I just got the passive re-amp box from radial to experiment more with tones.

I'd like something to do blues and rock a little better.

I'm thinking my next purchase might be a Fender Blues Jr.

Is there a head/combo or pedal around 300-500 that could push the 2X12 and 4X12 a little better than the epi in a rock/punk/metal situation AND do the reverby blues/country thing????

Or...do I just add a reverb pedal to my epi jr and stick with what I have?

I'm worried I'd have no clean headroom to do anything with a pedal into the epi into the avatar. Then, I would get stuck using the fender solid state for reverb.

I need to worry less and record more.

Thanks.
