I could use help with my REV 7...

Hey Guys,

Is it me, or is this piece of gear a total sh**hole?

I know it was somewhat popular in the late '80s, but I cannot for the life of me get a halfway decent sound out of it.

Any suggestions? Anyone know how to get a least one "ok" sound out of it?

Thanks,
-Neil

It's a noisy box, but I always liked it. I used it for live mixing lots.

I haven't touched one for 15 years though.

Yes we used to call that line of gear "Yamanoise". We had a rev5 as well. I didn't mind some of the small rooms in it, which seemed to be one of Yammy's strengths....
