Tube outboard gear after mixer step

Clearly this is a matter of mixer quality but, do you guys run your tube gear as the last step of the chain (from mixer outs -> soundcard, daw etc) or do you run these things direct to the mixer inputs? Referening to preamps for mics and DIs for synths as an example.

I mix everything on my Allen & Heath Mixwizard. Tube gear involved A-designs REDDI.

Wondering if I would lose some "tube-sound" plugging my REDDI into the mixer.

Thanks alot.
