Sending Master CD sequence to client to burn their end?

Hi,

So when i went to sterling sound to master a record, they uploaded a ddp file to a server which you could then download along with a program and then burn your own master reference cd with all the right PQ coding, etc.

Is there any way to do this?? As i work with a lot of bands who dont lieve near the studio , when they request changes, it'll be great if i can send them the master cd as some kind of image file to download and burn their end but i dont know what software is available to do this, that is easy for the client.

any ideas?
cheers

Gear Pro Mastering does that for u.
Dunno if any writer that writes a DDP image can also write ISRC and UPC/EAN data, but seeing that it is an image, I guess so.

Just tell them to burn slow and watch for dust on the CD!
I generally prefer to write the masters myself, if anything goes wrong, u are allways the one they blame, so I rather burn it myself and then seal the case, make a second as backup and seal that too. The third one they can listen too to check for errors or slip-ups before they send in the first two for duplication.

Of course, most duplication facilities will accept a flashdrive with the DDP on it, wich is the safest route imo

or it doesn't even have to be a ddp. just somethign that will will let a client burn a cd with the pq coding i setup and markers i setup, and for it to be free!

I just checked their site, it doesn't burn the discs, it's a DDP image player so they can verify at home and compare with the mixes.
