| NICE SONG feedback needed. hello you all. how are you? i recorded last week musicians in a church. and i need some feedack about the mix. some info about the recording 1st of all the mics were to close so u will not hear the room of church(!?) guitar recorded with XY km184 vocal with brauner phantom classic drunk violin ribbon aea r92 when i tried to mix the song , i found out the vocals were all in the KM184 recording. so i used the lead recording with brauner as adlib, otherwise the vocals are way too loud in the masterfader i used bleuverb of nomad to put some reverb inthere. recording was way too dry. and i used flux. all feedback is welcome. i can handle it, so pls shoot at the mistakes. thank you and greetings zebraaa |

| The general balance sounds fine to me (computer speakers). It would have been nice to put a mic up to capture the church ambiance. As it is I would have put the reverb in parallel rather than straight on the master fader. I like the guitar sound. The violin sounds a little cutting next to the guitar when it first comes in, but evens out later. I know you said there was alot of vox in the km's but I probably would have compressed the vocal track you had alot so it would act as parallel compression and bring up the quiet bits but not really effect the louder bits. Just some ideas. Sounds good. Where did you point the mics?

| Nice picture. I have a couple of SE Z5600 mkII's and they're amazingly versatile and really detailed as room mics - also great for drum OH.
