Come one come all! - Project MIX I/O!

I am this close --><-- to buying a Project Mix I/O for a project studio that requires drum kit miking but not a lot of money put into it. Was thinking about getting a lunchbox or something, but the tactile surface is nice.

Could our dear GS's please post your thoughts on this product! -
GOOD, BAD, OTHERWISE?

Currently using:
F/W 1814
Blue, Neumann, Shure mics
Running CUBASE

THANKS!

i found it unusable for drums, or anything else for that matter when i had my hands on one as soon as they came out...

the preamps were set to be so hot that when plugging drums or even singing loudly, with the preamps all the way down, they'd clip...there wasn't anything that could be done and it was returned....

maybe they've changed since then...
