If you were a microphone, what would you be?

Subject says it all. What mic sums up your personality? Both sound and looks up for consideration.

Pictures highly recommended.

Wow...I think I would be one of my CAD VX2 tube mics.

Blue is my favorite color, I feel I'm a pretty versatile person and do a reasonably good job on most things, and uh...like most people I'm warm to the touch??

A realistic highball. But I have self esteem issues. I might be as good as a Nady dynamic.

I'd probably be an SM7... people would use me for everything but I wouldn't get credit for it because I'm not expensive enough.

I would say the upcoming Neumann TLM67 because people haven't heard me yet but are already starting to tell me that I suck.

I'd be a battered SM57.

Possibly one of the ones used to hammer nails at the Shure booth at AES.

The New Old Me

Yeah! well my first thought on seeing this topic was Radio Shack for sure, one of those plastic ball type dynamics but someone beat me to it, So.... I'll have to go with some thing from Play School or maybe Fischer Price Looks like the real thing but........ just a toy!

Like a a Digital simulation.

What the hell I can't even sing, what do I need A microphone for, I'll just plug my guitar into a pod-xt or something like that and away we go! LOL

Low Low End

Just having some fun!

Don't take me to seriously, please!

For real ( can this topic be real? ) I'd want to be something old and classic, not to high end, I have a nice RCA MI-6203-B here that be a neat mic to be. Kind a earthy, work horse type of thing, real Rootsy. That's Me!

RE20. Bigger and heavier than I ought to be, but a reliable workhorse nonetheless. ;-)

I'd rather be an Audix D4 though...

SM58.
Yes there are other better microphones on the planet and yes, I almost always get overlooked as a small player compared to the big expensive german condensers and vintage ribbons, but in a pinch people who have used me keep coming back for more.
