Amplitube 2 Metal (and demo) is out

Just a FYI for everyone. Could have this posted in the Music Computers forum, but I rarely check that myself (mods, feel free to move it).

just played briefly.

high gain S1 stack makes my single coil tele sound huge.

I dont have much to compare it to as I only have all the amplitube stuff and the logic amp but damn it sounds good so far!

Anyone here using Amplitube with pro-tools LE..??

I´m just beginning to use Amplitube 2, and I´m not sure how to get around the latency problem...

in protools preferences you can set the latency. have you tried that?

latency depends on the computer too... I use logic and haven't used it yet with protools because im running leopard and protools is a bit wonky. but in logic I can get the latency down to 64 if im not running to many CPU intensive things at once. (I am however running a brand new 8core 2.8 mac pro.) on my old system that was a dual core amd 2.4 I could get it to 128 but that was with no other plugins running.
