I wish I knew who I was when I was younger. I've only just realized now at 32 that this is what I should have been doing. I can read for hours about gear. Thats a good sign. I guess the world tells you music is childish so I always just thought of it as my little hobby. What a fool I've been. If only I could go back in time and tell myself what is up. The real problem when you are younger is you sometimes don't know some jobs even exist or you don't know yourself well enough to sit back and really think what you are meant to do. The older you get the less you want to be the clean up boy and the coffee wrangler. In other words. Starting at the bottom. Your ego can't take it when you are older.

if only in society people had to complete certain duties before obtaining certain jobs or certain social status that way you know the guy with a big house is not a crook or sell out

When you are young its the perfect time to do humiliating jobs to get your foot in the door. Its just a shame when your are 18 or 20 you often don't know yourself well enough to know what door you want to go into. Whatever. I guess Im talking to myself. Carry on

Hey you've got a 6 year jump on me. I started recording at 38. The way I look at it is, everything I've done up to now, has lead me here. I am here at this time and place for a reason. Maybe if I tried it earlier I may have not appreciated the intricacies(sp) of the art the way I do now. Then again I've always been a late bloomer.
