Thread Starter | Soundcraft Ultramic+ or Mackie Onyx pres
Anyone with experience with both who can offer up a preference? I have the Ultramic+ pres in my 328XD. The specs state 66dB range for the Ultramic+ and 123dB for the Onyx. The other part of the equation here is the quality of the converters. Looking at unloading the 328XD for an Onyx 800R, but have do be sure it is the right move. Any opionions here would help. Thanks.

I have it listed on aBay right now for $1,750, but we'll see how that goes. One person has contacted me offering $1,200, but I think that is going too low considering what the XD provides.
