I am about to buy a pair of adam s3a's with twelve months financing. It's a great financial burden for the small project studio that we have. Our playing room is large with two iso boots and high ceilings, And we 'only' do tracking (mostly drums) since our control room is very small. We have a decent mic collection and good preamps. We have no comps or eq's worth mentioning. Right now we are using KRK V8II's and Yamaha NS10's. Should I go for the s3a's? or start buying compressors? thanks for the input. |

Have you had actually chance working on them? are you sure they will work in your room (tiny controll room you said)? Don't burden yourself with the loans. It is better to earn the money and then spend. With your setup you can do a lot of work as nicely as with adams. |
