Please count me in. I won a full program pass from the "quizaes" contest! Looking forward to seeing some NYC friends there and meeting new ones.

I'll be at AES but I have an orchestra session on friday so I'm not sure if I'll make it in time for the meal.

If traffic is good I may be able to get there!

Does anyone have a studio in the area big enough for the group?

Andy

We wont be able to pick a venue until the last minute.

We are just going to walk as a group and find somewhere.

This will suit people that have cars parked at the AES and need to drive home after dinner. It will be a drag to force these people to go into town, then come back out to get to their cars..

If you cant join us. please make a note of this number (George Necola) who you can call to find out where we are. +41 78 761 12 08

I will also be posting in this thread from my phone so will add the location of the restaurant as soon as I have it.

So Saturday 17th May 2008

either

a) Meet us at the AES at the Joystick Audio (booth 1721) at 17:45 or try to find us waiting outside the AES exit at 18:15 / 18:30

or

b) Check this thread from your phone (if you have internet access)

or

c) Phone George on +41 78 761 12 08 and ask "where are you?" to try to join us later.

Between 18:00 and 22:00 we will be in the area near the RAI conference center, "Rivierenbuurt" So COME ON DOWN!

Cool

Thanks - if I get on an earlier ferry I may just make the last bit.

I will ring George when I get close to Amsterdam - or, maybe, send a text message that he can reply to with an address that I can enter into the Sat.Nav.

Thanks - I hope I can get there in time for at least a drink.

I think a good spot to try to hook up with GS people if you miss the dinner might be the Joystick Audio booth.. Dr DeltaM (Low End Theory forum moderator) will be working on it..

Hi Jules,

I think I'll be there as well, will drop by the booth on Saturday and get my bearings then.

Cheers,

Hi Jules,

I believe that I, along with Thor, God of Thunder, will be representing the Norwegian slutz at your little fest. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
And the "coffee"...

for some Amsterdam late night underground entertainment...

if you guys don't know what to do, saturday 17th I am at a small downtown club called Maloe Melo. There's a a pretty wild surf band playing and 60's soul&ska&garage DJ's. Entance fee: a meager E5,-

Cheers,
Macmod

I just got back early from the orchestra session which finished quickly, so I'll be there in time no problem.

Me + 1.
