Reason 4.0 N00B Questions

Hi im new to Reason 4.0 but know very well how to use 3.0. What bothers me a little is the way different midi data editing section ( you know where all your tracks get recorded and automation etc.) In the older version its simply highlight copy and paste for editing midi data. For some reason on Reason 4.0 on my redrum track midi data line, you can only select 4 beats at a time and everythingelse would be shaded gray. This is really slowing down my production as I need to get some tunes finished! Somebody with the know how please let me know! Thanks!
