making live guitar tracks sound great

Do you guys have any tips on how to make a single miced, live guitar track sound fuller and bigger on a live recording.?

There are sometimes I help out and mix some simple live stuff, and the guitar is usually mono tracked, I know a few things I have tried, just seeing if anyone has some good ideas and tricks..

There are lots of tricks but best I have found is getting it in phase with the next loudest mic, then sticking a good "early reflection" reverb on it then cranking that sucker.
Lots of bottom end doesn't hurt either.

For rock guitar live I like to set up a couple of aux sends with verb and delay and pan the dry guitar almost hard one side, and the effect panned the other side, like the old VH records. That can give it some width without sounding too chorusey.
Another trick is to copy the whole guitar region and paste it on another track, and then nudge it slightly time wise.

I try to always double track acoustic & electric rhythm guitar, then pan them hard left and right. (and usually stereo widen them also)
But there is nothing wrong with a single gtr up the guts in mono with a stereo verb and/or very short ping pong delay - ie. 20ms and 35ms no feedback.

Provide me with multiple stereo stems and I will send you back a final 'summed' mix.
The difference is amazing.
