How does the LA-610 compare to the LA-610 SE? Any user feedback?

Hello Everyone

I was wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to use the new LA-610 Special Edition yet. I was interested if there are any users, how it compared to the regular LA-610. Any feedback is appreciated!

Cheers.

uh, it costs more, is black, and has better tubes, and different transformers. I'm surprised they didn't make a bigger VU meter. Ok, I haven't been through it yet, but I am ordering the LA-610 on Monday!

sorry if my response was useless, but bump!

I was about to pull the trigger on a LA-610 until I saw that the SE was coming out. Mine shipped yesterday. I won't have it until sometime early this week. Unfortunately, I have no basis for comparison.

But I have one of the 500. 499 left for the rest of the world.

Since I pop in the freshest NOS rca 7025's, it looks from the specs that the only difference is in the transformer, which could be amazing or....? keep us posted wen you get it. It would be radtastic if you paired with a friend to AB them. cuz the LA-610 is the kitty's milk...bring onz the black milk
