Intern wanted in Nashville area studio Hi All, Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum. I'm looking for an intern here at the studio. It must be someone who has recently finished or is currently in an audio degree program. At the moment it would be unpaid, but I should be able to work out gas money, etc. You must also have a vehicle for "running". I'm not looking for a slave, but I need this person to be able to make runs to music row now and then to transport drives, get supplies, etc. If possible I’d prefer some experience with ProTools and Mac OSX. You don’t have to fly On PT, but at least a little basic knowledge is what I’m after. We work on major label projects and this is a private studio, so I think you will learn a lot and it could be a fairly hands-on for the right kind of person. Please PM me if you are interested and I’ll give you more details. This is open immediately, so the sooner the better. Thanks, Erik

I wish I lived a bit closer! Vancouver B.C. is about a country and a border too far unless I moved but that requires visas and such! sounds like a sweet opportunity!

| Gear Head | Hey, I am from the UK,I know you said it would be unpaid but I really want to move over to the states to work for a while due to being bored of the UK and in need of a change. I graduate this summer and I already freelance in studios either as an engineer or producer. Would be a great opportunity and they do not come along often. Please consider me, my email address is info@michaeltempest.co.uk Best Regards Mike

I've gotten some great prospects so far. I need to clarify that the person needs to be in or recently graduated from an audio program. Since there is no monetary compensation, this needs to be done through a school unless someone knows otherwise about the legalities... Thanks, Erik

For the moment, I won't be taking any more prospects. Thanks to all who have contacted me so far and hopefully we'll make some sort of decision shortly. Thanks, Erik
