| Monitor sends as Effects sends??? I find myself running out of effects sends on the board I work on (has 4 effects sends and 2 monitor sends). I reallize that the Monitors are prefaders. Why does that make for a bad idea to use as effects sends? Thanks |

| No reason you can't use the pre-fader monitor sends for effects. Just know that if you change the channel fader that the effects level will not follow it. In other words, the proportion of effects to dry signal will change. If the channel is static (no fader moves) there is no difference. Michael |
