Hey James,

I'd like to attend if possible, but not sure of my schedule yet. Either way, feel free to use any of my pre's if you like. I've got the Shadow Hills, Germanium and Brent's API's. Bryan's a friend of mine and he can snag one of each up if you need them. I'm in Studio City. PM me or Bryan has my number.

JLM PEQ500

See if someone can bring some JLM modules like the PEQ500, you won't believe your ears how good this EQ is. I would but I'm in Australia.

James, thanks for the call today.

I will be bringing a VSI MX-1 mic pre for the shootout. I am very anxious to hear all the pre's in comparison to this box I have come to love so much.

I will bring along a VSI lunchbox with a 512c and 550b in it too, maybe another surprise, who knows. This will just be for show and to discuss stereo linking and inserts with the 500 series.

Vernon from VSI might come as well, he is behind the work in the MX-1, including the discrete blocks and transformer design. He can answer the questions I can't, that's for sure.

Unfortunately, Brandon Fields (sax) will not be able to attend. He is stuck in Vegas. Sorry!

Looks like all 4 types of Old School Audio/OSA preamps will be there for the get together. Atlas Juggernaut production prototype will be there Thursday (and James owns a Buzz Elixir already).

Hi James, I might be able to make it, and if I do I'll bring along a mono Gama. Not sure what time I can get there though.

I just hope someone brings the JLM gear, the EQ PEQ500 is just amazing and the 99v pre is great as well. Ah well never mind the rest of the gear you are trying is fantastic as well. I bet the Avedis MA5 will get the biggest wrap....still can't get over how cool that little baby sounds. It would have to be the pre that will be standard in most project then pro studios in the not too distant future.
