i'm not being impatient, nor am i trying to rush the process.

i am offering to help further a process that could (at some point) a) give wider access for this very valuable resource to more gearslutz members (esp. those with slow internet speeds), and b) reduce file transfer volume on the forum server.

seems these would be good things?

It would probably help if we had some idea of how long it will take before the site changes will be finished. At this point we don't know if you're talking about waiting hours, days, or weeks.

If we had some estimate of that, we can all sit back, get drunk, and patiently wait.

Thanks.

LOL Luckily I'm a couple hundred feet above sea level. Maybe I'll have beachfront property sooner than I thought!!!

All you impatient guys just need to BACK OFF. Jules is doing his best here. To get demanding when Jules puts this site up for FREE, and James put in a LOT of work for FREE, and the manufactures PAID shipping and sent out demo units that they could have sold so that James could shoot them for FREE, is insulting and childish. Assume it's going to be weeks, and then you'll be ecstatic when they show up......which I'm sure will be quite soon.

Now, step back from the keyboard and go make some music or have a beryllium popsicle or something. That's what I'm going to do.....

Ha!

Seriously guys, let's cool out. It's not going to be the end of the world if these files aren't up immediately after they're prepared. I was one that offered an alternative prior to Jules' post, but let's not forget who makes all this possible.

edit: same time, drBill. same time!! ;)

We should put together a list of who was not represented. I have never heard the Great River, so I guess I can start with that.

I don't know why this is such a big issue, why is there such a big rush these days. We all share this site and the moderators do their best to ensure this is a very worthy one.

Donīt forget that there is also a life outside of Gearslutz.com

Especially because of that:
Thanks to all the admins and everybody who puts his blood sweat and tears in here

Iīve been reading (and learning) so much here. Its the best forum iīve ever seen, so show respect to the brains behind it. (Most do that anyways)
