ADC extension cords?

Been searching the web for a apple display connection? extension cord.
Does anyone know were i can pick up a cord greater than 3meters?
Need at least 5. Anyone please, I´m about to go crazy over the fans from
the magma chassi and with a soon to be bought G4 I can´t imagine
that it will get better.

Perhaps the old "invert the phase of the computerfan" trick will work too

You might have to have one custom made. I've never seen an ADC cable longer than 3 meters, and while there is a possibility a 5 meter cable could work, there are no guarantees.

There are cable extender boxes, like the stuff from Gefen, but then you are talking about a lot of money to move your computer a few feet.

I use a 3 meter ADC cable extension from Dr. Bott, and it works great. That allows me to move the CPU into the closet, which I've treated with Auralex acoustic tiles. Not a perfect solution, but one that has made a huge difference. I originally wanted to move the computer into the next room, but had no luck finding an affordable solution.

Hopefully, someone will come up with a brilliant idea, which will be of interest to me as well, as I'd also like to move my computer even further away from my listening position.

I spoke to them on the phone...they will make custom cables for you and they guarantee their video cables to run up to 100 feet. I feel confident they could fashion an ADC extender cable for you.

Cheaper than Gefen....

Although if you need other things extended at the same time (USB for keyboards / mice), built in audio, etc....the Gefen box is still a good (although pricey) option.
