Noise reduction plugs?

Hi,
I've got a challenging project to clean up a hissy live recording that
went from a hissy board into tape and back. I've tried Waves Z-noise and
Izotopes Rx .. but both are getting space monkeys if I reduce any more
than -10db or so.
Are there other plugs I should consider?

thanks
jeff

if RX doesn't do it, I'd be surprised if anything will in the plug-in realm.

the only other software that I'm told is even worth looking at is algorithmix, but I have no firsthand experience as I'm a mac guy.

perhaps the hire of a cedar box is in order...?

Cedar has some of it's algorithms available as Audiosuite plugins for ProTools on Windows. Auto Dehiss is the one you'd need for your application:
CEDAR Tools

Yeah Cedar is right up there in the de noise stakes, their hardware units are brilliant. Worth checking their software for sure...
