Thread Starter | DAT transfer to CD help.
I don't know if you guys remember the thread I started a few back about transfering a DAT to a CD but I have a question about how to do this with my equipment. I have an audiofire 12 and I have found my first gripe with it. No digital inputs. At any rate I have a central station and I am going to route it like this: Tascam da 30 MK II to CS via RCA. CS to AF 12 via 1/4 inch. Now should I record this onto a stereo track or should I send left to track 1 and right to track 2? On the CS, both the cue (output) and the main (Aux in)volume knobs control the volume to track. Should they both be set straight up or should I be wanting one to be lower than the other? Sorry for the simplicity of this question but I have never really done this before. Thanks for your imput. |
