| What are you using your TC Powercore on? Hi all, I just got a TC Powercore and really like the verbs in the little time I've used it. Just wondering what plugs people use on this thing and what they use these plugs on? I'm using the Classic verb on snare, overheads, and mixed in the vocal effects chain so far. I'm thinking about the Sony Oxford and Transient Modulator as the next plugs to add to my rig. Thanks! Jon |

| the classicverb and chorus on vocals. On Everything else I've been using comps, pultec,fx from UAD-1. Used to use classicverb on everything but been using the dreamverb a little more- sounds more modern as long as u keep reverbs short |

| My powercores (one pci and one firewire) are at the moment mainly being used for Sony EQ, Compressor and Inflator. For reverbs I do use the odd Classicverb, but these days it's mainly the Logic Spacedesigner. |

| Hello again LumenStudio. I see you decided to go the route of the PowerCore, good choice. For what it is worth, and just my opinion perhaps, is that it would be good to revisit the other thread that you started, and to tell people that you went the course of the PowerCore. This way people who read that thread about reverbs can see what you decided to do, after asking and getting help from several forum members. Call it Karma, call it "Netiquette", call it give and not just take, whatever... Previous reverb thread You already see what I think about the PowerCore in the other thread. I hope others post their uses here in this thread, as the PowerCore is a great platform with a incredible future. I know their roadmap, and where they plan to go with this product will knock your sock's off! If TC Electronic makes any of this new stuff public at NAMM this weekend (I don't think so, probably next year) I'll post it when I get back on Tuesday. Chances are, they will just be showing the Vstation and the new Dynamic EQ plug-in this weekend. Congrats LumenStudio... and yes, buy all the Sony stuff too!

I've been getting good results with using the tcthirty for amp usage, followed by guitarrig for delays, chorus, speaker cab emulations and such, and then followed with a classicverb. This combo is a resource hog but it nets a very nice tone. Of course, I'm using a Manley SLAM DI, and playing back out of a Daking or Neve, so I'm trying to make up on the front and backends for any digital gaps in between. YMMV, guru007

| A little bird told me that System 6000 mastering suite ( and may be more) will be fully ported to the Powercore. Just a rumour at the moment Yury

| I just got one too and have had a uad1 for awhile. I also got a dac1 to test the plugs out with.. I've been using it on comuter with speakers for the most part. But not on drugs or alcohol. :) although others will I'm sure. |

Plus I have lots of friends in top computer science programs (who love music) that will be the next gen of compter gurus that will push in the box if at all possible. Some friends of mine are working on Dialog Recognition Systems (not that they are that good at this point). Later -Jon
