Any Gearslutz in Switzerland?

I'm going to be based in Geneva for a few months so I'd be interested to hear from fellow slutz in the area. I can see the possibility of needing occasional studio time for recording voice-overs and also some help locating gear dealers (although everything in Switzerland is sooo expensive I imagine everyone buys their gear in Germany?). Tips for best ski slopes also welcome! Anyway, if you can help PM me and/or check out my website link below.

Cheers,

James

hi james,

altough i'm not in the geneva area (i'm from zurich), i can tell you switzerland is full of gearslutz!

as for local gear dealers: www.flyline.ch is the fastest, most reliable and cheapest dealer of hi-end stuff.

as for ski-slopes: probably you have to leave the french-speaking part of switzeland and travel to the german speaking part (which is just about 2 hours). the "berner oberland" is full of great slopes with terrific sceneries!

there's only one studio i know and i've join in geneva. it's called "force motrice". has a 18channel neve in there and a lots of nice outboard!
it's in a famous place within geneva, so everybody can tell you how to get there.

have a nice time switzerland

hi james

i'm from switzerland too. and i like to help for vocal recordings, but i'm over 2 hours away from geneva. i'm located near to solothurn. it's after bern if you travel from geneva to zurich. but if you need my help pm me or look at my homepage, where you can find my mobile number, and call me. no problem

all the highend stuff i own i bought in the states or in germany. you're right. the prices here are just ridiculous. sometimes they're as double as in the states.

maybe you dont believe it, but i dont ski, although i live here in the skiers paradies

regards deft:::
