Best monitors @ low levels ..... ?

I need some decent monitors to work @ very restricted levels,
My budget would be around the $2k mark & I'd be using them to get mixes to 90% completion.

Any thoughts ?

PMC.

Don‘t know why, but all their monitors sound equally good at low level and in full blown metal mode ... must be the transmissionline.

Indeed they do and indeed it is.

Brilliant design engineering and extremely well created in reality.

I've not heard anything anywhere near their price ranges that can do what they can do.

Yes, but not enough to rate this things.

Second thought: to avoid anything with the name DIGI printed onto it was one of my smarter career moves ...

Go passive with Bryston or for the flying mole version – these amps are actually pretty good – invest the money you saved in room treatment and you will be golden.
