Looking for a Mixing Engineer in Seattle

I have a small project/tracking studio in town, and I have a bunch of projects coming to the point where someone smarter than me needs to take over =)

I'm looking for someone versatile, who has experience with a variety of musical styles, although mainly metal/electronica/industrial etc, and I'm looking to build a relationship. I produce a ton of stuff, both my own, collaborations, and others, and having someone (or a few people) I can trust to grab a disc and come back with good results would be great.

Hopefully it would be someone who could also give me feedback on my tracking skills (or lack thereof, lol!) , suggestions to make their lives easier, as well as help me understand the mixing process a bit better. I have a lot of experience in the DIY camp, but I'm hoping to move uptown, lol.

I wrote and recorded over 20 pieces of music last year, and this year looks to be even busier. I'm not afraid to pay for quality, either. I currently have two CDs I need mixed, so immediate work is available. Experienced pros looking for a steady flow of work or hungry newbies looking to make a name, all I care about is the sound, yeah?

I use Pro Tools HD, and would prefer to find a mixer who does as well, for ease of compatibility, but feel free to convince me otherwise.

I have a good rep in town, am a vocal and visible part of the local music scene, and support local talent whenever I can.

Any interested parties can contact me at teebalicious@mac.com with rates, location, etc (I'm in North Seattle by Northgate) and I can send samples of my work.

Thanks!

One guy I've met in town who does a lot of stuff on the heavier side of things is Brian Valentino. Nice guy and very talented.

I had Chris over the weekend in my studio tracking an awesome metal band on my HD rig. He seems quite confident in his metal mixes.
