Exercise or Gearslutz

I don't know about the rest of you, but ever since joining GS I'm not running or lifting weights nearly as much. Instead of having some balance in life and keeping my body in shape, I've kind've desended into this secretive cave where nobody has to know my obsessed thoughts and I can escape all the cares of life by focusing on gear and everyones' opionions of gear. (BTW, am I the only one here who thinks of GS as their job?)

The problem is, I really want my waist to be back down to a 34 by the summer, what with pool parties and the beach, etc. Maybe there's something else besides GS I can give up that'll free up some time for me to exercise. Got any ideas?

I set my laptop on a shelf across the top of my treadmill.
I walk. I don't run. So it makes it easier to read.

Glad you like.

Seriously, though: GS will chew through time like Dr. Who. I don't know what the answer is except that, in my case, my obsessions tend to diminish with time.

Gearslutz generates frustration, frustration generates food compensation, which generates fat, which generates health troubles, which lead to death...

If you don't exercise you have to be food ****... plain and simple. Taper your carbs down from morning to night. Replace the decreasing carb cals with proteins. I am generally done with carbs around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, cept for veggies. I eat a gram of protein for every pound I weigh... as a general rule. But I am ridiculous about my diet; I eat steamed veggies for snacks most days. I never drink soda ...not even diet. I drink about 100oz of water per day and I work out an hour per day 5 days per week, twice on MWF.

Call me crazy, but I feel like most people treat their cars better than their body.
