Weird PT problem

I opened a session and for some reason it is playing back too slowly, and the pitch is affected as well. I've never had this happen to me before. What could be the cause and how can I fix this? I already tried importing data to a new session and checked my playback engine. Any advice?

Thanks
Dante

I am 99% sure that the sample rate is set lower than it was when you recorded, for instance, you recorded at 48K, but it is now set at 44.1K..

Check it out

It's either a sample rate issue as Waylon suggested or a vari-speed issue. You can determine both by going to the session setup window.

Good luck.

It is probably a sample rate issue as poeple have mentioned... you have mentioned you checked your clock but even toggling the clock can relieve this issue...

As in changing the clock between internal to AES and back to internal... or from Loop Sync to INternal and back...

I have had seesions done at other studios come in and they have been using loop sync or AES as a clock and they have played slow,.... Because I run a Lucid sample rate clock and I have for got to change the session setup to Internal for my Clock....

It happens.... I have had the above mention happen and mixed the song this way ... I will put in the rough in the session and line it up to reference and unfortunitly it was being played slow as well ( in the same session with the wrong clock ) ... pretty funny... I happen to listen to the rough in a stereo in the lounge and it was fast or actually correct
