TC Works Announces 24/7-C Virtual Limiting Amplifier for Powercore

TC Works has announced the 24/7-C virtual limiting amplifier for its Powercore system, based on a "long-discontinued" classic dynamics processing box. (Fairchild??? - Jules) The 24/7-C is available as a free download to all registered Powercore users.

At least four (maximum six mono) instances of 24/7-C can run on one of Powercore's DSPs, bringing the total count up to a minimum of 16 on just one Powercore card without taxing the CPU, according to TC Works. Multiple Powercore cards may be used in the same system, making it possible to build massive systems with a native audio sequencer as Logic, DP, Nuendo or Cubase as front-end.

Last month, TC Works added the new Classic Verb to the stack of plug-ins already included with Powercore, bringing the total to 10 significant processors featuring the virtual finalizer Master X3 and the mono-synth Powercore 01.

24/7-C for Powercore will be shipping on November 22, 2002. It is included with Powercore, and available as free download from www.tcworks.de to all registered Powercore owners.

System Requirements:

Mac:
* G3 300 or better
* MacOS 8.6. – 9.2
* VST host application
* Powercore card
* RAM as required by host application

PC:
* Pentium III 500 or better
* Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP
* VST host application
* Powercore card
* RAM as required by host application

I checked their website. It looks more like an 1176.
