Thread Starter | Want to make guitar cab impulses Im trying to make some guitar cab impulses but I'm not sure what feeds the cabinet. I know you have to send a sine wave sweep to the cab then mic it, but do you send straight from the interface to the cab or from the interface to a guitar head? Wouldn't the amp's settings screw up the sine wave? |

IMPORTANT: Most tube amps has -20dbv level input. so you must send the signal pretty low, or you're gonna blow it up Its pretty easy ![]() | |
