Hello,is there anyone here producing GAME music?

I started to compose PC game music these days and I am looking forwards to finding some really good game audio forums. Is there any guys producing game background music and fimiliar with this field?

Thanks so much!

I'm an active arranger over at VGMix X: Home. Check them out, as well as OverClocked ReMix - Video Game Music Community, where I also have arrangements. They will have all the answers to your questions.

I know one of my favourite musicians and producers, Terry Taylor, who has had a long and respectable career, did some game soundtrack work to great acclaim.

"...Taylor went on to score two more video games for TenNapel, 1998's Skullmonkeys and 1999's Boombots. Both games were created for Sony's PlayStation video game console. The best known track from Skullmonkeys is the "Li'l Bonus Room" track, regarded by many in the video game industry as the single funniest track ever written for a video game."

Terry Scott Taylor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm glad people are starting to put more work into game soundtracks. For a long time they were mostly droll and repetitive.

I WISH i did stuff for games and soundtracks but . . .maybe someday . . . .

Anyway, Bill Brown is one of my favorite composers and has done lots of movie sound tracks and some games. Here is an interview with him on the Music4Games site.
