Thread Starter | Help with FF800 Digimax FS Setup??? I have had a Fireface 800 for a little over a year and love it. I decided to add the Digimax FS for an extra 8 mic pres through the adat inputs. The people who have this setup, are you using the BNC clocking or are you having better luck clocking just through the adat. Thanks, cam |

| Use BNC with the FF800 as the master. |

Thread Starter | I hooked up the Digimax with the ADAT cables, the RME automatically noticed it, I turned the Digimax to clock from the RME and not internal, chose 44.1, and it works perfectly so far...no pops or cracks. I will hook up the BNC just to make sure it works perfectly. All I have to do is hook up the cable, change the Digimax FS to clock to BNC, and then terminate at the Digimax...right??? Never used a setup with ADAT before. The preamps on the Digimax seem fine also, probably better than the RME's, which I htink are usable if needed. Thanks, Cameron |
