tracking in control room w/ LCD monitor

Hey guys, I'm about to track some guitars over the weekend. I just picked up a new Gateway TFT LCD Monitor and I'm wondering if I might run into any issues with the guitar player in the control room. The guitar player will be using active pickups(emg81's to be precise) and I'll be recording a DI also in the room to possibly be used for reamping later.

I've tracked before at other places with an LCD and if i remember right if the pickups were facing the screen he would get a buzz through the pickups. I don't know if it has to do with the monitors or anything else...so any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

never had a problem with it myself and do it all the time.

I also don't have any problems tracking guitar in the vicinity of my LCD monitor. I believe the older CRT monitors are the ones to beware of.

makes more sense but even then- I have a large old Sony in my room that doesnt cause problems.

I have 2 big ones in my room where I track drums 100% of the time and bass and elec gtr sometimes...never an issue
