My guess is they recorded all/some of their shows to digital and needed the converters. Maybe.

They offered a CD of any of their shows on the last tour I believe (via the web site) They also brought out a live album (terribly terribly mixed) Maverick Music actually has most of Rich Robinsons gear for sale (and sold most of it) - I have bought some stuff fromt hem |

There's something just slightly less romantic about owning a band's converters. "ya know the strat the crowes used on they're last tour man? Well i got they're a/d converters!"
