Thread Starter | Running Stereo Mixes into single channel boxes Twice?
How many people here do this? I have been expirimenting running some mixes through some gear (eqs, filters, preamps) but most of it is single channel. So I run the left side first, then the right side. Is this ok? I understand that with any compression type of effect I would have to watch for the balance of the mix moving side to side but for filters, eq or distortion is this ok?

If it's giving you results you like then sure, it's fine. I've done it before. Just have to make sure your gain staging is the same for both channels...
