| Gear maniac | Mbox Micro Compatible with Pro Tools M-Powered??? I use M-Audio interfaces/Apogee AD at my home studio, so I work specifically on Pro Tools M-Powered. I would like the ability to mix tracks on the road without lugging around my firewire interface. Obviously the new M-Box Micro would do this perfectly. Anybody know though, if the M-Box micro is compatible with Pro Tools M-Powered? I noticed on the digi site that it comes with Pro Tools LE, and the bread and butter software/fx package. I would hate to get this thing, and have to install LE on my system on top of already having M-Powered. Anybody with the answer, let me know. | No. M-box micro is not compatible with Pro Tools M-powered. But you could use something like this with M-powered. M-AUDIO - JamLab - Personal Guitar System |

| get the M-Audio Transit... i have one in my brief case just for this purpose. plus, the Micro only goes to 48K. The transit lets you work up to 96K and in a pinch you could record into it if you had to get an idea down. Since you already have the software...it'll only cost you about $79 to get the Transit.
