Lynx Aurora mirrored outputs?

I have an Aurora 16 and need outputs 1-2 mirrored on 3-4 (or any other stereo pair).

In Pro Tools hardware setup, command+option clicking on 3-4 to add the outs to 1-2 doesn't do the trick. When I had a 192, it was just that easy.

Basically I need to monitor the mix in both the live and control rooms.

I can set this up in Pro Tools by sending every track to an Aux, and setting the Aux to outs 3-4. However, it would be simpler to mirror 1-2 on 3-4.

How is this done with the Aurora? Can it be done?

You can do it with Analog to Digital outputs but not Analog to Analog outputs just yet. There is a firmware upgrade in the works that will solve this issue. I've been dealing with this for quite some time with Lynx and they are aware of it and are working on solving it.

That sucks! IOW, if they can figure out how to make it work, we might get a fix. The Aurora's been out for awhile. I'd expect they'd had have it resolved by now.

In the meantime, a splitter box carrying the same signal on two output pairs would work, but not having such a basic function in the Aurora is lame. Alternately, sending the outputs to a console and bussing to a pair of stereo auxes would work, but I'm not into running the signal through several more circuits and feet of wire....

What I've been doing in the meantime is just multing the outputs I need to duplicate via the patchbay. Pretty easy solution.
