To be honest, I've got no experience with it. I do recall that a friend of mine which has been a producer for years and owns his own studio has recommended me the Brauner Phantom. I would love to test it, but it's above my budget. I might try it out some day soon though. People seem to love this microphone for its bright but still good sound. Although I didn't try it out I do recommend it to you.

Oh yes a question for you, in return for my reply. Would it be possible for you to, when you get that microphone, send me an email (or whatever) with some vocals (singing or rapping, etc.) you recorded with it? That would really be great!

Marlon.

Brauner Phantom imo is an absolutely moving purchase. Works very well for voice
V/O. had great sound with a violin, flute seem to do a bit less. Will want to buy an additional mic (C414, Coles, Schoeps) but not sell the Brauner. (Unless replaced by a valve Brauner.)

PS The guy who sold it to me got remorse and bought another....

Why would you want to buy an additional mic?? You mean for instruments? If so, I only record vocals, so that's no problem.
