Digidesign 96i/o vs 192i/o

Hi guys,i'm wondering how much better is 192 vs96i/o.I know that the 192i/o has a lot of exp. options, but compering both at the same Sample rate/96 or48k/which one sounds better.I'm not planing to record at 192k at all.
Thanks guys!!!

There was a thread on this sibject within the last week or so - someone who has used both (as opposed to someone who has heard about both) says that indeed the 192 sounds better at 48 (or 44.1) than the 96. But don't belive me - do a search.

Do a forum search here and DUC.
My take as I own both.
The 192 is nicer of course, although the 96io clocked of the 192 seems to be nicer then stand alone. Although I have not done any real technical tests myself.
The 96io is way above the old 888/24's which were used by a lot of people.
If you can afford the extra buy your first interface as a 192.
Also the 192 has soft clip, adjustable inputs and outputs.
you can add another 8 in or out to a 192.
The 96 is not upgradable
