The Bilal album....any inside info?

Anyone know what this album was recorded to and mixed on? It really has an amazing sonic signature.........mastered a bit too hot for my tastes but still.........cheers...J

Recorded in Pro tools. I'm not sure exactly how it was mixed, but I chalk a lot of it up to the mixers: Neil Pougue, Peter Mokran, Russ Elevato, etc... Great record. They also did a great job of doing vocal rides with Bilal instead of just slapping a compressor on him. He's an extremely dynamic vocalist in the studio.

thanks..............Yeah, to me, that album has maybe the best spectral balance of any album i can think of.......but the ridiculous ammount of limiting on it makes it a tad tiring to listen all the way thru....shame.
