| You may want to try Side Chaining the output of the kick drum to the a compressor on the bass. This way, every time the kick hits, the bass is ducked by the compressor. I've done it on a couple of records and it seems to work with material thats slow to mid tempo and the kick isnt too busy. Good luck! ![]() |
