| new console?
so, I am in the market for a recording console, trying to spend under 10k(cables/patch bays included). I have looked into the obvious ones, toft atb, soundcraft ghost, ect ect... i have not used either console so i have no idea what they sound like, however i have done a lot of work on a trident 80c.
im going to be using some of the console pre's and eq's (i have some nice out board pres and eq, but id like something decent on the board) for tracking and mainly as a wild summing box since i only have 18 outputs, ill be stemming my ITB mixes through a console to a 1/2 inch machine
can anyone give me some info on the ghost? i think i have read enough about the atb to be sick of it already and cant find enough on the ghost to make a real opinion. also are there any other consoles i am over looking, any weird jems out there i should know about?
so what i need is decent pre/eq section, better summing, good routing
