Toft ATB... Automation?

Does anybody know if there is an automation (flying faders) system that can be DIYed into a Toft ATB 32?

Where there is a will there's a way I suppose...I doubt it though. There isnt a whole lot of room under the hood. But I could be completely talking out of my a$$ so I would just ask Toft.

does the atb use standard faders?

edit: it doesn't look like they do. I know the tonelux shadowmix can be used in basically any console that has the same type of I guess what I call standard faders.

Not sure... I think Alps has faders that are compatable... I read on another post that it K series. I'm checking into that to make sure.

I was wondering about this too.....since soooo many ppl using this console with DAW, is it THAT hard for ppl to figure out putting motorized faders in the ATB??

Hard? Maybe not. Completely impractical? You bet!

8 channels of Shadowmix faders costs more than the entire 16 channel console. Getting someone to custom design a moving fader system for you will be even more expensive than that.

Yes, The K series Alps fit.

P&G makes a motor fader with the motor mounted on the bottom that looks like it might fit. I can't imagine it's economical but it's also not inconceivable.

Someone should make a Chinese knockoff of the SSL Matrix and sell them for ~$7500. If it worked there would be no way to meet demand.
