Thread Starter | ATB24 or C24 with Summing Mixer
I want to upgrade my studio, so far I have to options: both have pros and cons. Toft ATB 24 Console or Digidesign Control 24 (used one) and a Summing Mixer The Toft has 24 pre`s and EQ`s, and the analog feel while the C24 has 16 pre`s and fader automation, it should be used with a summing mixer. Both are very good choices, so give me you opinions |

I've never used the atb, but I have heard stuff that was tracked and mixed on it... It sounded good. Sounds much more expensive than it is. It seems to be a pretty cool little product. The c24 is cool, but I wouldn't use the preamps on it.. They are garbage in my opinion. The monitor section blows too. But the faders are decent and it works well. If I were mixing in the box, i wouldn't have a problem using the c24. You just gotta ask yourself if you want to live in the computer box or outside of it. That's all. What do you really need? |
