Maybe for the Applephiles, Ipadders, the harry Twitters, smart phone addicts and Blackberry crowd. The rest of us maintain independent thought.

Disconnect and think free again! Go out into nature and listen to the messages from the earth. They make far better sense.

Maybe my ears are getting old, but my 166xl is one pretty good piece of hardware. It can control and pin the level of jumpy signals far better than any plugin - not as good as my Distressor though - and it's auto atk/rel can do things that manual settings cannot. It's easy to operate and is quite cheap to get. I don't use it for busses, but it does the job on kik, snare, toms, bass and some vocals.
