Argosy furniture assembling

I'm going to spend summer holiday redesigning our studio. As a part of the redesign, I've ordered an Argosy console for our Control24, and a Spire 4-bay rack.

I'm known for being clueless when it comes to assembling furniture, and my patience when dealing with such things is like zero (IKEA hates me...). I assume some of you has experience with Argosy already; are there any special considerations when assembling this stuff? Something that's not clearly written in the assembly instructions? Can I break stuff?

I found the Argosy to be pretty easy to assemble. It appeared that the company had spent a lot of time getting all the details correct and making sure the console fit together right. If, as you say, IKEA hates you, then you may want to get someone to help you assemble it.

Yeah, it's cake bro. If you can run a control 24 and 4 racks full of gear, then you can assemble an argosy desk. Good luck.

Just make sure all of the boxes arrived before you assemble. I missed a few which arrived a few days later and was stuck in the middle of the project. It was not Argosy's fault... it was Fedex... grudge

don't twist the camlocks too hard... they're made from crappy metal and break. I found more at a local hardware store. And don't use glue if you plan on moving the console. I have moved mine once, and was glad I didn't glue it together. (not all of it, just some of the alignment dowels.)

they're cake!

it's like lego: approved for age 3 and above

just one hint: make that you are 2 persons (not a girl, or she is very handy and strong ). some assembling are much easier with 4 hands.

regards deft:::

p.s. : great choice, i love my argosy furnitures

Thank's, this is just the kind of information I was looking for. No glue, easy on the camlocks. All the boxes (20 in all!) arrived at the same time, so I guess it's time to find a few bottles of wine and get started...

Make sure the dowels(wood pegs) are sorted by size and used in the right hole if you try to put the wrong peg in a short hole it will pop the laminate out the other side. Schedule your construction with nothing else to do. Take your time and don't be in a hurry. Its a lot of stuff that comes with it....have fun
