music libraries / production music companies in europe?

hi folks,

I see that there are a lot of music libraries in the US and they're also easy to find (through google for example).

however, I found it quite hard to find music libraries in europe - but I think there MUST be a large number of libraries in europe since this business is coming from europe.

my question: does anybody know where or how I can find production music companies in europe..??

is there something like an "union" of libraries or anything comparable?

I'm looking forward to your answers - thanks in advance!

martin

I learned about this page at the advertising facility I interned at. Not so much in that field now, so I don't know more labels. Actually, there's like 10 labels on that page, Bruton, KT, Atmos, and so on are all different.
They still have all the CDs, but switched to downloading the files instead of getting them from the CDs, therefore saving time and effort. Apparently if you buy the CDs you got the license for the downloads too (correct me if I'm wrong here - I was just interning there).
LOTS of stuff on there, and - at least the CD version - most also have 1:00, :30, :15 edits.

There are so many music promotion companies who are providing on line promotion facilities. Most are very internet focused whereby it makes little difference where you're located so thereby you can choose from any production music library in the world. Just Google "Production music Europe" or something like that and you'll be sure to find plenty of results.

Here's a good resource for researching production music libraries in general.

PMA - Production Music Association

Hey gitarrero,

I'm a music producer from Austria & I run a website for music production. Besides mine, I offer music from 4 other producers for more versatility. Buy Beats | Instrumental Beats | Exclusive Beats

There are many music companies in Europe who are helping artists in music production. You can also go for online music companies. They can help you best.

Lots of UK based library houses, but most are already buried with folks new to the genre with no background, so you better be good and you better be persistent.

My take on your original post is that you aren`t persistent or determined enough yet, or you would already HAVE all the library publishers at your fingertips, but hey - you got to start somewhere, I guess.

The existence of production music libraries is mainly to provide media producers with a pre-recorded collection of music for license to be used in virtually any type of media... television, films and commercials.
