Best Chorus Plugin

I want something like the Roland Dimension D. I know it's available as a plugin for UAD and that the Roland SDX-330 have a good preset modelling it ..but I'm not too happy about getting another piece of hardware for this .. so are there any good chorus AU plugins out there?

Try the Sound Toys Sound Blender plug.

Echoboy is awesome as well.

PSP Nitro is worth a listen. Does a lot more than chorus too. It's very deep, and has elaborate routing matrix. Which is useful if you want to emulate something like a Dimension D which is greater than just a chorus. It has four modules, which can be used in various configurations. When auditioning the presets, be sure to experiment with disabling various modules, because some amazing effects can be obscured by an unwanted effect, like saturation or eq.

If you can run AU plugins, I do a killer utterly basic chorus plugin. The secret to chorus is that you've got to be doing interpolation just as if you were doing high-quality sample rate conversion. Otherwise you can't get the fluidity.

...damn if he wasn't asking specifically for AU, too.

Well, then- here you go. It happens to be one of the free plugins, so I don't even have to talk you into spending money

Here's a stereo version-

Chris' AirWindows Stereo Chorus plugin is one of my favorite chorus plugs. It will SERIOUSLY stereo-ify your synths!

Nicely priced too!
